Except that's not what I was thinking. Of course actually playing the game is going to be different than simply watching it, but with so little to do in terms of interaction the end result wouldn't be too far off from watching it. Doesn't feel worth the $10 to hold W for 2 hours.
Its $10, which is more along the pricelines of a book or a movie.

This man gets it.

Oh I see, so if I want to give this studio money to produce more games like this then I get it. If I do not want to give them my money, I don't get it. Thanks for clearing that up.

If there is virtually zero interaction besides moving around manually then you'd probably be better off watching a playthrough on youtube.
Yeah that...really didn't make sense. But hey, at least she should now be aware that she's completely useless.
This right here. Old World Blues is the greatest piece of DLC ever released for any game. PLAY IT.
Damn, this looks awesome.
"Man, that game is kind of uncomfortable for straight guys!"
"You're right."

I'm not sure if I ruined Amnesia for myself or if it just plain wasn't good. Horror games are hands down my favorite genre of video games, so when I heard about Amnesia I was pretty excited to play it.

The further I got through the game the less I liked it. In the end it felt like a stealth game...for kids. The enemy spawns were random, so sometimes you could just blaze right through a passage with no problem and others you'd have a monster just waiting for you right where you have to be. Enemies ran faster than you so in some cases you just can't outrun them. If you got caught you're usually forced to hide...or you could run TOWARDS the monster, let him kill you, and then respawn with him in a more out of the way location.

There was no real downside to dying in the game. Hell there were occasions near the end of the game where I had to sneak past LOADS of monsters over a pretty long distance. I couldn't outrun them so I eventually get clawed in the back after about 12 seconds of running and the game spawns me RIGHT in front of the door I need to go through, skipping me past the whole section of an admittedly difficult area.

Once I figured this out I really stopped caring about the horror aspect of the gameplay and only focused on its "puzzles" and storyline. The horror part was simply "I guess I'll try sneaking so I can...sort of do what the developers want me to do, but if I die then the game will basically complete this area for me."

So what can I say about the parts of the game that worked? The puzzles didn't quite stick with me and I really didn't care much for the storyline (I got the "best" ending which I wasn't a fan of).

I really wanted to enjoy this game. It really had me going at the start but in the end I just felt like a kid stumbling upon the mascot without his mask on.

Why is 3 easily the worst? I thought of the first 3 in the series it was the only one to be genuinely scary. The scares in 1 and 2 are mostly from crap busting through windows and going BOOGA BOOGA, whereas in 3 you are constantly worried about running into Nemesis (especially if you're low on supplies)
Actually, I think there's an option for first person mode in FF3...
I just finished Fatal Frame 3 not too long ago, I'd say its just as good as 2.

I hear you on it being a bit on the easy side, I think the only times I really died were from the insta-kill guy and the insta-kill from the last boss. Fatal Frame 3 is overall more challenging, because some of the ghosts are a huge pain in the ass and there's one character you play as that was just....not very good. Still, wasn't the hardest game ever but there's at least some challenge to it.

Click the image, its on the bottom row alongside Amnesia, Eternal Darkness (<3), and Siren.
Fatal Frame is on the bottom left :D
Well as for competitive play, CS1 was Bang Bang Bang Litchi Hazama Bang Bang Bang and CS 2 was Makoto Makoto someone interesting Makoto Makoto
I have no idea why but I ran into LOADS of Mu players the last time I played...thought it was rather strange. Maybe Hazama players are just pulled in by my magnetism and all that, leading me to many tears.
