They could have announced anything that was a real game... not that I didn't like sword fighting. They should have showed something from the Conduit. Even a tease of a new mario/zelda/metroid would have been good

This movie kicked a serious amount of ass... and this article nails in on the head... the level of tech displayed in this movie is incredible. The holo-CAD display was the coolest thing next the armor itself. And stay after the credits if you want SPOILERS***** a glimpse of Sam Jackson rocking an eye patch as everyone's favorite government badass Nick Fury.

I agree with the sentiments above... the wheel feels like a gimmick, and after playing with it for 20 minutes you are going to be left wanting better responsiveness from your controls. As even a seasoned gamer I feel like a 80 year geriatric when trying to steer using the wheel. That and I could feel early onset arthritis setting into my thumbs from the way you are forced to hold to wheel. Save yourself the pain and stick to the mote%nunchuck configuration

It seems too far from April Fools day for this to be a prank, although this could be some sort of pre 4/20 pot addled prank that Midway thought would be funny. This is a pretty big reach. Marvel vs Capcom = Awesome.... MK has been pretty stale on its own and I agree with many other posters that have said that throwing in the Dark Knight isn't going to make MK any better. For cryin out loud they made Liu Kang a zombie in the last one.. wtf?!?!? I still will not believe this till I see some sort of official screens or footage

Also I forgot to mention, if you want a good example of how to do terror properly, I reference the Shalebridge Cradle level from Thief: Deadly Shadow. At least that game had a pedigree for integrating occult elements into the game.

Indigo Prophecy started great, but the longer it went the more miffed I got by the lack of sense it made.... not to say that I wasn't entertained, but I have yet to go back and finish the game. As for Condemned 2, the game is scary enough on its own without having to resort to cliched, supernatural cult plots, but I guess someone research firm must have told Sega that the occult was back in.... which is clearly not the case. I watched the original versions of The Omen series a few weeks ago and then saw the remake, I was not left longing for further devilry and accidental death. Although Final Destination 4 got greenlit by somebody so clearly I must not be in the target demographic for this type of stuff.

I consider myself a pretty well adjusted person, I don't torture animals or plan school shootings... But I, and I'm sure many people that have played a Hitman game, have gone through a level and killed every single person in a level just to see if you could pull it. And I mean every last person just to get a chuckle from the newspaper writeup of the crime at the end of the level (mainly in Blood Money). Then we can go to the complete opposite end of the spectrum where you only kill the person that you are targeted to kill. In fact the game rewards you for doing the job the right way. Sure you could call this game a death simulator, but I challenge you to find a way of killing someone that I couldn't then find a video game where you could do the same thing. Its truly a shame that people use video games as a crutch in criminal cases and then that the media goes bonanza in decrying video games as destroying our youth.

I would like to think that being a Kotaku commenter is a privledge. I think mass ban hammering needs to be undertaken. The comments to N'Gai were just obscene and seem very reminiscent of the typical rabble that populates Xbox Live, which is why I personally hate using voice-chat. In many ways this is the same in that people can effectively be anonymous and spew hate seemingly at will. People need to take responsibility for what they say and actually think for a second that what they are saying might actually be hurtful to someone. Get your heads out of your collective asses and act like an adult. And I'm sure that last comment is going to cause a flame-war to break out, but thats my opinion and I stand by it

I think that in this case poor Charlie Daniels has the right to speak his mind on the fact his song was "desecrated", but I agree with Fahey on this one that GH3 is very tame in comparison to most games children would rather be playing. I mean they even go so far as to tender out any bad dialougue... Killing in the Name Of from GH2 being a prime example when they ripped out the best part of the song so that kids ears wouldn't be sullied by the F word. But in the end I think that I'd rather kids be exposed to good rock music, and as point if Devil Went Down was the used in its original form as the final song it would have been significantly easier to pass and most of the challenge would have been removed. Call me a noob but I still haven't managed to beat the Devil yet on expert largely because I think Battle Mode is broken, but I still try because I like the challenge. In closing ROCK BAND REIGNS SUPREME!!!

@kuraitenshikun: I suppose I should have clarified... this is the best RPG I've played on 360. I've played every RPG Bioware has made, and a very good chunk of old school PC RPGS, Mass Effect did the best job I think of conveying a sense of epic scale you typically don't get in your avg RPG... the last 25 minutes of Mass Effect is riveting, I actually don't even own a 360, I played it on my brothers over Christmas break. I do own a PS2 and I have played many an RPG: FFX, FFXII, Persona 3 to name a few

Mass Effect was possibly one of the best RPG's I have probably ever played. I would play Mass Effect 6 if they decide to make that money, the only caveat being that I expect the quality to remain at Bioware's usual high level... although I do kinda turn a blind eye to Jade Empire, this not to say that it was a bad game, but the "plot twist" SPOILERS!!! at the end was just like the one in the first KOTOR.

I am actually kinda excited for this one... if anyone can play a brooding badass its Marky Mark. I point to his work in 4 Brothers as an example of this. The announced Mila Kunis to the cast who I can only imagine will be Mona Sax although her voice is a bit too high for Mona's usual tone, but she is hot which I'm sure was the bigger consideration for the casting people

@hun_nomin: Will this be the next great action game? Norse mythology, thumbs up, ass kicking combat, thumbs up..... but I worry this game will go the ways of some other long hyped games. Without naming games lets just say I don't want to see this game go the way of Daikatana. Silicon Knights has done good stuff, Eternal Darkness is one of my favorite games to date, so I just hope this game turns out well and sells gangbusters.

@Mr. SiThNiNjA: I blame media outlets like Fox News who will burn game designers at the stake for making games that are adult in nature and claim that they are marketing to children. Mass Effect anyone... I for one want to see more games like Mass Effect or games that aren't afraid to push the envelope. Manhunt 2 got castrated to get on US shelves. I say they should have just sold the game themselves and kept it the way it was, even if that meant they were gonna lose money, at least they kept their integrity as artists

Another classic case of fox pundits talking about something that they know nothing about and trying to say that video games are destroying America's youth. I give a lot of respect to Geoff Keighley for sticking up for himself and not letting that other commentator have free reign. The sex in Mass Effect is very tasteful and in my first playthrough I didn't even get to that portion because I didn't care.
