Here's a little story about me playing Zelda. Although I played the first one many many years ago, I didn't finish the game until a few months ago on the 3DS. Yes, I used a guide. Still I knew some of its secrets. Partly because I played it a long time ago but mostly because a kid told me most of it. This guy told me to bomb that wall, burn the 3rd bush and go here for the dungeon. How did he know this? Because he bombed every wall, burned every bush and touched/poked/ shot an arrow on everything. Now if you want to be that guy, then go ahead be that guy. For me I'd rather have some guide telling me what to do.

Yeah, the hand-holding in Zelda games have been irritating and could be dialed back a bit (a lot). And I think it would be better if the games had two parts where the first one was more tutorial and guided, showing you the ropes then the 2nd part would just say: "OK, you collected the 3 gems, but now to get to the end you need the 6 rings. They are located roughly here, here, here and here. You got your sword and shield? Now go!" And it wouldn't matter which "ring" you want to go after first. I think that would be better.

First thing in the morning and I read this. And all I got was "Why can't Zelda be more like Demon Souls". Yeah.

I have more to say but I think if just scrolled down I would see them. Soooooo.... You are not exactly right, you're not wrong either. That's it.

Expan-sion Pack. I've heard about these... things.
Before DLC right? This was another way to extend a game. I thought they were extinct.
Eh no, I'm not in the US and the nearest Starbucks is a good 2 hour drive, I think. Good idea tho, might try McDonalds.
Oh sure, 2 minutes, if you have a decent internet connection. If you're like me that could take hours as I'm getting frequent disconnections and dial-up speeds. Dammit! I'd brave dial-up if it would give me a steady connection!

Post already, dammit!

I don't mind the Mario titles but some new IP's would be nice.
Waiting for a passively cooled 7750 for my HTPC build.
Sure, I'll make a "blog-view-is-broken-for-me-too" post.

The free download for LoZ: Four swords adventure ends in the 20th. Those that haven't download it, what are you waiting for. #tips
In SMB2 sure, but I think in SMW Luigi is an exact clone of mario. So I don't see the need of playing as him as one of the challenges.
And there I was racking my brain trying to remember if Luigi did anything different from Mario to make it more difficult.
I like Luigi and all but why would one of the conditions be to play as him?

Confirmed: Snake will drive a Silver Chevy Impala to "blend in".
Well, if you approach from that standpoint then yes, it would be very fascinating. And I would definitely watch the developer documentary, after playing the game that is.
You know the more I hear about Tim Shafer's Kickstarter project the more I think that some aspects of it is not good for gamers. Don't get me wrong, asking gamers to fund the game is a brilliant idea, giving those same gamers a voice in how the game develops... not so much.

For me the main point is, me being a gamer and wanting to experience the game fresh and without bias (well, a little bias). And think about it, wouldn't having access to the game development spoil the game for you, even a little bit.

So for me, I'd give Tim money then wait for it to come out.

Yeah, you can give four of them. I just don't know what the girls will do when they find out you only gave a piece of your heart.
If comics have taught me anything, it is to avoid girls with an aura of waifish innocence. Unless you want to die a horrible, horrible death...
But I can't! She's so cute!
Not that good. You can see gaps in the design.
