@c0mbobreaker: Oh really? Then why do the pages for Crysis (both games) and Far Cry 2 list "3rd party DRM: SecuROM (5 machine activation limit)" on the store page? Yes it's true games like Bioshock (now) and Fallout 3 abandon their DRM for the Steam version, but the FACT remains that not every game on Steam uses Steam DRM and the three above examples, along with GTA4 being the most recent (though with no activation limits) use SecuROM despite being on Steam.
@Thugmunk: Oh I 100% agree! Steam DRM is DRM done right. I love Steam and always buy Steam over retail. However, EA most likely won't use Steam DRM and just stick with SecuROM and activation limits and just use Steam as another distribution platform and not take advantage of Steam's features and non-system-ruining DRM.
