the gay thing is still in that limbo stage. Where it's teetering on a proverbial fence. People are far more accepting but its still kind of a taboo thing to a fair amount of Americans. The word 'gay' is still used as an insult, and the butt of peoples insinuating jokes. You even see it here on gawker, and especially kotaku. It's still got a fair amount of time to go...Not until all the baby boomers are dead will we really see something different. I'd give it another couple of generations before we see some real change in the subject.
We all know that once Rowling realizes she needs more money/no one cares about anything else she writes, she'll come back to the harry potter teet and start suckling again. That is...she'll write more books. For better or for worse.
@TOCATL: Personally....I prefer physically owning a video game than owning it digitally.
Owning it digitally just feels too much like not owning it at all. It's in this mystical digital place that can just as easily break. and once it breaks...well...you're fucked.
oh great. Another news article that can instigate mac vs pc.
Again, never cared. Both are good machines. It really just comes down to preference anymore.
these developers should stop wasting resources on combating piracy. There's just not fucking way they can stop it unless the game itself somehow sends out a lethal shock to any and all pirates.
Honestly.
not really a huge fan of halo. I like the books and the fiction....but otherwise the games are okay if you have friends to play them with.
Even though I'm not really a fan of halo....
I am a fan of jetpacks.
