I missed your point the first time through, and totally agree with you. If the parent didn't know/care their 12 yo was GTA4ing, that's bad.
Reminds me of a time when I worked at Wal Mart a few years ago. This woman came up with her kid, who looked 8 or so, to buy him Vice City. I made a point before ringing it up to say "Ma'am, you realize this game is intended for 17 and up and contains..." then proceed to read verbatim all the horrible-sounding ESRB descriptors on the back of the box. She just looked coldly at me and said "Yes," bought it and handed it to the kid right there.
Now THAT, I know we can both agree, is a bad parent. This may be a bit harsh - but the world would be a lot better place if certain people were sterile(ized) :P

Hopefully Home will be open to the public soon. There are rarely more than 30 or so people on in the whole system whenever I log on (but then again the activities are still kind of limited).

Hey if you are beta testing for HOME, could you suggest Sony to work on wearable trophies like cloths and accessories?
I posted examples here: [kotaku.com]
I think it'd be really cool will make people want to play more games to get more cloths/accessories more than just a trophy display.
