Ahahaha, I hadn't thought of Night of Fire. I HAD however considered:

Burning Heat, Last Burning, Burnin' the Floor, Midnite Blaze, Hot Limit, Fire Fire...

See?!?!

The Bemani jokes for this practically write themselves.

Burning Up For You

You guys all have it wrong.

This is what Miis will look like on the Wii U.

DC seems plausible, given the controversy it would create by taking the game right to the steps of Congress and throwing it in the faces of the game's most vocal critics.

I would also consider Philadelphia, seeing as how Philly has one of the three locations of the US Mint.
Based on the summary, I was expecting Henry Lewis to tell me about how his grandkids punched the crap out of his pecan tree.
"Bigger competitors"? OnLive is tiny, and GameStop's service is even smaller. I at least know what OnLive is, even if I plan to never touch it with a ten-foot pole. I've read the name of GameStop's service at least ten times during the course of this stupid discussion and I still don't remember what it is, and I don't really care, and I expect most people reading this story are in the same boat.

It's a reach. Using this logic, Microsoft is a competitor to GameStop, as they frequently give away XBL trials and 1-3 month memberships while GameStop sells them! Ohnoes!

Seriously, this was a stupid way to react, and the only reason GameStop was even able to do it is because Square needs GameStop for the console titles. That's probably why GameStop didn't scream bloody murder about the Portal 2 giveaways.

And yes, it absolutely does reduce the value of the package. At any other retailer, I could effectively buy two copies of the game for the price of one (assuming I used OnLive). By removing the insert, GameStop's SKUs now carry less value than those at other retailers. OnLive should be fuming about this, because nobody's seriously going to be going to anywhere brick-and-mortar other than GameStop to buy a PC game, and you're not going to get OnLive codes for your Steam purchase, so their promotion is essentially dead.
Not even close. The thumb movement gets very tiring after a short period of time.

If you're going to cite the best trackball of all time, you picked the wrong Logitech. You're looking for the Trackman Marble FX.
Seeing as how I own both, I assume that by "lost" you mean "relocated one inch to the right".
In b4 a zillion Monster Cable jokes.
Based on the previous article regarding the value of Hiroshi Yamauchi's stock holdings, I'd say that "intact" is probably the exactly the wrong word to describe it.
"22.5 percent didn't like the console's name"

Good! If the Japanese don't like it, maybe there's a chance that Nintendo will change it. God knows they didn't care if "Wii" was a stupid name in English...
In my mind, it's a good thing. The small screen doesn't need to have HD elements to it that might be harder to read or touch accurately for some users. Plus, forcing developers to make a workable experience in 480p ensures that they don't skimp on it while pursuing 1080p (for example, Capcom's initial efforts in Lost Planet and Dead rising).
Ah. Well. There you go. I still haven't played the first game. It's in Ye Olde Stack.
Good thing he's playing XIII then.

Edit - actually, I'm pretty sure it's not even XIII, but it's definitely not XIV.
It's a great show, but I miss the non-gameplaying segments of the show, I don't like the Ninja Warrior voiceover, and they're not providing much, if any, subtitles for the non-spoken dialogue, such as the King segments. There's more to the show that you're not seeing here, and that's kinda disappointing. Look for some of the episodes fansubbed by SA. The Kirby's Adventure episode is a great one to start with:

@StephenTotilo - I think so - take a look at this - [www.highfrequencybandwidth.com]

Ooh, this article says yes it is -
[indiegames.com]

I picked up the HFB PixelJunked album last week. It's a pretty good album, though interestingly enough the album cuts are actually a bit different from the game mixes. Almost anyone who has played PJS probably thinks the song Hundred Forty Billion is actually called "Sellout", but in the album cut of that track, the "Sellout" sample is nowhere to be found.
This basically looks like the last level of PJS2 turned into a full game. Same enemies and everything.

@StephenTotilo - is the soundtrack for this also by High Frequency Bandwidth?
Oh good. Poison is still a woman.
Good job Nintendo. LA gets to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Zelda, while everyone else gets to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Zelda.
