Bastion. I swear that game grabbed me by the heart by strength of that soundtrack alone. The fact that it's a good game as well is just a bonus.

No matter how much exploration of new sounds and melodies I undergo, something in me always settles back in for some mournful acoustic and from-the-gut blues.

Even better, the game weaves that fantastic soundtrack with fantastic narration and atmosphere, and executes with perfect timing on both.

I'd pay the asking price of the game for the soundtrack alone...so needless to say I highly recommend it to anyone who had a passing interest, then passed it by.

Hey, someone had to go for it, and if not you? I would have.
Pfft, why you hatin on three chord chuggin?

How else will they maintain a monotonous flow?
Wait, does it actually say that?

/actually reads cover

........wow.
Wow, it's been awhile, hasn't it? Seeing names in that send off like Jon Brownlee and Eliza Gauger really gave me a shot of nostalgia.

Whelp, best of luck to you Michael, in whatever you end up doing.

You'll always be known as a Kotaku writer though ;)
Yeah, the actual Mario was unavailable.

I can appreciate the difficulties Comcast may be facing in trying to get the network stable again, but they wouldn't be losing a crap ton of money, they simply won't be collecting as much temporarily.

I can also appreciate the costs associated with patching things up.

However, this isn't like an insurance policy not paying out for an act of god, this is demanding payment for a service not rendered.

I'll put it this way, let's say you went to McDonald's for whatever ungodly reason. And you order a meal. You pay up front, then wait. When your meal comes to you, they leave out the fries.

When you ask why, they tell you that due to measures outside of their control, their machinery broke down and ruined all the fries, making them inedible.

However, they will not refund any of your money. You will pay for the meal, and only get your drink and burger.

I doubt you'd be as understanding in that situation, even if you were married to Ronald McDonald himself.

;)
lol, nice. I overlooked that.
At least you have a good outlook :) It's a good trait, hold onto that!
Sorry to hear that bud, but at least she managed to keep a roof for you guys. I assume the 2 year apartment is the one you're at now?
Yikes, that's a lot of moves...once a year your entire life, just about. Why so much moving?
Good ole' one zip code Bensalem for me. Been wanting to move to Bensalem for a few years, finally managed to get my shit together and pull it off.
Finally got a place outside Philadelphia. I already don't work in Philly, so goodbye city tax from my paychecks!

So, who wants to help me move?

Hello? Anybody?

Fine.
I require no fluffer, but will accept your services all the same. ;)

And yeah, like TVs_Frank said, JRPGs have taken a dive this generation, though I wouldn't even classify vXIII as one, exactly.
Maybe, but he was flat out negligent.
Pfft, just more room in the orgy then!

*continues pounding random ass*

No but seriously, I think I gave up hope for vXIII.
I'm thinking the same. I'm keeping my expectations low, but would love to be pleasantly surprised.
