War is not entertaining....well it is in retrospect...call me psycho i never went to the civilian transition counseling when i got out of the Corps.
MS has gone in some aspects leaps above Sony but fails to mention what the hell they plan to do about quality control for the most part. Bleh if people pre-order just to get the gun theyre just plain lame......if i remember correctly in COD4 an M16A4 which is a starter weapon pretty much decimates people a lot better than the MP 44 which is unlocked at a higher ranking. Oh yeah and i have to agree with people here saying do not pre-order at Gamestop. I see nothing wrong about advertising to teens about the Army or for any branch of the DOD. Someone has to take up the rifle and defend this country since like 95% of the adult population is not willing to do so. Catch them at their late teens early twenties. Youth in the battlefield is good since im not too fond of the idea of old gramps humping 15k with a full load. War unfortunately will follow us humans till we disappear from this universe till then we need our troops.
All these war games are supposed to be unreal because if its not it would suck. I dont see any fun in cleaning shitters, fixing up busted up equipment, cleaning your weapon every damn day, getting shot, killed, worrying about your family back home, dealing with shitty weather, starving, going nuts, etc etc etc. Take these games with a grain of salt they are there for entertainment and to perk the interest in mainly the action and weapon systems in the game not to recruit and brainwash kids.

Good move for Square on going multiplat heavy. Now only if they would make a propper PE sequel or a FM3 remake or heck why not throw in a Xenogears and top it off with a Brave Fencer Musashi.
@Silver_Back: Eh no hard feelings man. I must admit that sometimes contractors act like cowboys in the O-K Coralle and now we have an oversight committee looking into their actions which is outstanding. Theyve been running without much accountability which is bad, but the idea of having experienced mercs take care of some dangerous not so important to the troops job sounds good. Hey make sure you send care packages to your cousin, out there it make a world of difference to know that people care for you back home. Even if its a package full of bubblegum.

They provide intel for the coalition also since they can get into areas were not authorized or cleared to be in. And they also help provide security on some firmbases throughout the area of operation. There now your turn......

After playing MGS4 for oh 10 plus hours I can safely say that MGS4 can run on the 360 given it will be multi disk. The game engine is wonderful and all but the occasional dirty muddy texture come out especially on vehicles like the one Drebin drives. An IBM tricore thats in the 360 is more than capable to run the said game. This whole "it cant run on this system" is just pr talk. They said the same thing about Dead Rising comming to PS3 and the devs said its not possible and that right there i call bull. Same with the rest of the trolls here saying the 360 or ps3 cant run this game or that. They are (the systems) at this point on the same performance level if a lil bit on the 360 due to the extra chip for 4xfsaa side of perfomance.
