@Tiller: It's kind of a gimme, since you can make the main character any kind of person you want in Mass Effect, but FemShep is my perfect video game heroine. I play mostly paragon, but sometimes throw in a more sassy renegade move.
@jackdavinci: Yeah I missed the first 20 minutes of this episode unfortunately (I was watching the second run too, and no DVR in the dorm room), but it was reminiscent of Air Pt. 3 with all the desert wandering, which was not particular interesting.
@ArcturusScavenger: Well, male Shepard you mean, right?

Still, it would be nice to have more than one or two non-terrible hairstyles for fem-Shep.
@Peter Pan Complex: Yup. It's just not the type of game I could play on a couch. It sort of requires the chair/monitor or at least laptop-to-face mentality.
Concerning number 6: if it wasn't in version 1.x (though I think it was) Scrivener definitely has a full-screen mode in version 2.0 which was released recently.

Scrivener is definitely a great, great tool though - just being able to break bits of writing up into manageable segments that can be moved around easily is why I use it mostly - though there are other great features in there as well.
I thought the sheer amount of conversation possible was nice, though I would have preferred it translated more to a Mass Effect-like system. The game was in development before Mass Effect though, so I guess that's why.
Can someone explain something?

Wasn't the virtual Zoe in the (now boxed) Cylon body that crashed? So what's with the current virtual Zoe, where did she come from? Was she a backup? And there's supposedly another backup in the jewelry?

It's getting confusing.
@RoboBagins: They really do seem to underplay how smart Eli is supposed to be by making him a big lovable goof more of the time than a focused nerdy time, but we have Rush, Brody, and that other character to fill that archetype most of the time.
@Tanner Sack: I have to agree about the mother's situation. It really isn't mumbo jumbo at all.

Her husband is dead, Eli is gone and she hasn't heard from him in months, she doesn't even know where he is. She has HIV AND Depression. Depression caused her to fail to take her medicine, which led to a decline in health. The "loss of will to live" is caused by the depression, and compounded by the already existing condition.

She was committing suicide, essentially, albeit slowly.
@Megazone33: Well it's interesting because virtual Tamara (and now virtual Zoe, at least somewhat) have turned to be darker and more evil than their living counterparts.

The only other thing that bothers me is people still blaming Zoe for the train bombing when last I recall it was just that guy's fault - she just thought they were escaping to Gemenon. Unless I'm mistaken. But guilty by association I guess.

@黒人: You forgot the ages old "No right click? LOLs".

But other than that, pretty complete.
@TemporalSword: I actually liked last night's episode pretty well, better than the last episode at least.

The whole plot of people being suspicious of Rush and where he has been is what has me most intrigued though, so I haven't cared as much about other details. Chloe's alien plot is interesting, but still kind of silly and cliché to me.

So kind a pre-post before the Caprica recap, but what did people think of last night's episode?

Personally, I'm still interested in watching, but it's pretty dark. None of the characters are really redeemable at this point - there's no real hero to root for, except perhaps Lacey.

If you mention whatshername wife - forget it - she's still too annoying to be drawn to.

But yeah, virtual violence/torture was kind of gratuitous.

@Megazone33: No, it was actually some nice composed music by the main composer I think. (Can't remember the name at the moment.)

@ddhboy: Have to agree - I'm not at all impressed with what they've shown so far - I have no incentive to upgrade at the moment, especially if it's a full-priced OS release (unlike Snow Leopard.)

A lot of the things seem to actually be worse, or heading towards a computing paradigm that doesn't really make sense to me as being more efficient on a desktop.
@benbennibenben: I do agree with you on the Magic Mouse having used one for extensive periods of time. If not just because the multi-touch on it isn't that great, but also it has terrible ergonomics.

I do like multi-touch on trackpads and use it often navigating when I have my laptop out and about. But docked, and for certain applications, many buttoned mouse is the way to go.
@The Anti-Fanboy: It's rumored that The Old Republic actually isn't shaping up too hot beyond the starting experience. If that's what you're referring to.
