I personally refuse to curb my creative endeavors at the behest of the the will of a handful of misguided activists. Let them throw their temper tantrums.
Yes. A handful. Sorry, but despite their efforts RE5 sold a nice solid 4.4 million copies. Quite a lot of people enjoyed the experience. You can't go around pleasing everyone, and some people don't deserve pleasing.

@Rowd: The people who are overly sensitive are the problem. I get where you are coming from, that the imagery evokes memories of oppression. The problem I see is that those people that speak out about it don't understand and don't want to understand the actual story to gain context. Thank you hysterical masses. I have been led to believe all my life that there was a large population of black people in Africa. It took your diligence to make me understand that this was not true.
