Haha Popeye & his "Enhacements" is my new Win7 wallpaper.
I'm an ASP.NET developer and I think this is awesome!

It's optional by the way (need to dl it), so quit yer bitching.

Haha I like Steve Ballmer he's that CEO we all LOVE to hate.

Also his best friend and counsel is Bill Gates so that accounts for something.

I like the new queue rows, they allow me peak into the other genre lists without actually going to them.
"... late 90's when they pulled the same shit with Windows."

Unless you are very young and don't realize it, he is definitely referring to Microsoft's anti-trust issues.

Putting a :) doesn't excuse you from calling people trolls, which is what trolls like to do.

Usually in cases of streaming, quality has almost 99% of the time to do solely with the bandwidth allocated to the stream. Netflix and any other well-coded streaming app adjusts the stream on the fly based on this.

From what I can tell, based on my own experiences/testing, the newer Netflix adjusts the image more often to prevent the buffer from running out (and pausing the video stream which is what the old Netflix used to do).

The new Netflix Metro interface really grew on me after a while. It is missing one or two features I need but overall I feel it is better, ESPECIALLY if you use it with the Kinect's Voice Commands.
Pulled what off with the Xbox 360? What did they do on the Xbox that is anti-trust??

Nintendo is doing fine and Sony shot their own foot with both the original cost of the PS3 and pedestrian quality of PSN.

I don't think this is being done on purpose. Management at any company doesn't just decide something like this especially a company that had been under anti-trust scrutiny over the last decade.

This I can guarantee you is a technical oversight or limitation (with regards to server load or bandwidth or such). Sorry but this is a conspiracy that doesn't seem plausible.

You on the other hand seem to have an anti-MS agenda to spread.

^I like how you think.

Entertainment, like art, is very subjective and making headlines like this is nothing but Gawker's usual sensationalist journalism.

Ha that's what they were just saying at midnight mass the other night
Gen X was a great game, starring Aerosmith.

"DONT GIVE UP... YEEEOOOOHHH!!!"

He is the voice of Silicon Valley.
Unfortunately what happens in your private life can manifest itself in your work life (which includes your reputation). That's a fact of life whether you agree or not.

It is, however, weird that Gawker is almost exclusively publishing this story and not TechCrunch or someone bigger (haven't seen anything on TechMeme yet). Maybe they're just awaiting official response from the TWiT network or from Leo himself. But I doubt Gawker is going to put itself on the line reporting garbage about one of the greatest personalities in tech.... we'll just have to wait and see.

Good sex is always messy.
On national radio he portrays himself as a family-friendly anchor of tech help. A scandal like this undermines that so to minimize the negative affect I believe (IMO) that he should be up front to his audience about this controversy, specifically, whether it is true or not.

Edit: If he denies it to his audience and the media, a lot like politicians do, and it does indeed turn out to be extramarital then that has the potential to mark the end of the TWiT network and his loyal audience.

This is not a huge surprise to me.

I always knew that Leo had a wild side to him (like every other red-blooded man does, so let's not pretend). It was especially obvious after he left the corporate broadcasting world and started doing his own thing on TWiT. He was far from family-friendly on most of his TWiT shows and this should not come as an entirely huge surprise to anyone that was paying attention.

I will still consider myself a big fan of Leo after this because I understand the world for what it really is and unfortunately no one is ever really above it no matter how perfect you think your life is.

My only real concern now, if this was indeed extramarital, lies with his wife, their son Henry and their daughter Abby. I hope Leo does the right thing and confronts this controversy head-on with both his audience and his family.

BigChiefSmokem, Junior TWiT out

Google TV? Apple TV?

Who cares Microsoft beat you to it with the Xbox 360

Edit: the part you're missing is GAMES you morons
I love me some WEEEENDOOOOOHS FONEEEEEE!

aka the new hotness
You're full of it spouting that anti-Vista bandwagon bullshit and also as a non-developer you have NO IDEA of the complexity involved deploying an industry-wide OS (like Windows and Linux) versus that of a strictly proprietary operating system like OS X.
