Ron Paul? 'Twas chatting about Santorum, I was!
This needs a 'Shop, now. Get it done Kotaku!
I'm glad you care about this country's politics. I don't give a flying fuck, because politics make people cranky. Go Obamneytorumaul!
I found my pregnant wife playing this on her iPad. I stole that fucking tablet and played for a good hour and a half, pregnancy be damned.
I see it now, and I cannot unsee.
"...he's an ignorant theocratic piece of shit who hates women and pretty much everyone..." I admit that I fucking hate politics. I only skirt the arena of political news, and I firmly believe that anyone that wants to be a politician obviously has a shitty alternative interest. Unfortunately, and I claim this in my completed hatred of all things politico, I think that maybe the snip I took from your statement is a bit hyperbolic? Ignorant? Probably. Theocratic? Unabashedly. Piece of shit? And how! Hates women? While I can probably say that his self-interest does not consider women at all and is again quite ignorant, to correlate that with hatred is a bit...unfair? My (completely ignorant) opinion. You're more than welcome to correct me (forgive me if I am lacking in tact. I try to be polite on the Internet). Edit: Broken formating...

The above essay needs to be read by every man, woman and child.

OK, Legacy Control, while not overtly clever or original, made me, 'DAWWWWWW!'
The question is, why do allow for corporations to do this to us? To answer my own question, I suppose we enjoy the product more than the possibility of not being able to access all the features in a game. I understand that promotions generally end, but it's disgusting that this has to be hidden in the EULA. Any other thoughts?
COD:BF a.k.a. Call of Duty: Bro Fist
This is me waiting for the GotY edition...trust me, I can wait.
All your points are valid merits in making a film, but I ask you this one question: do those involved in the creation of the original films really care that much about what Lucas is doing? Obviously, we have no real way of gauging this question, hence I will continue to say that the fans have no right to complain because the original cut still exists.
Unfortunately, Lucas (as an artist himself) eventually wanted to develop his original creations even more. Who are we to argue with an artist meddling in his own work? The original cuts still exist, and I believe this does not invalidate the authors and artists that came after Lucas. I love reading some Star Wars literature, but I have never been a fan of continuity. If you can tell a good story with beloved characters, do it (this coming from an avid DC Comic reader).
Each subsequent interpretation Lucas creates is merely a different piece of art then, correct? He can continue developing his art(s) as he sees fit.

And I don't see why Lucas is obligated to bring older versions of his work to newer media formats (though I probably think this way because I really hate repurchasing films that I already own).
People bitch about Lucas' tinkering? These films are his creation. The man has every right to tinker. You can always watch your original VHS version, in all its grainy glory (which I do). I really don't give a damn if Lucas turns all TIE Fighter pilots into Gungans through the magic of CGI.
Why does this exist?!? Damn you Google Image search!!!
This really made me giggle for some reason or another. Thank you.
Bah...not really all that excited for this. If they change some of the mechanics like they did in Majora's Mask, I'll be a bit more pumped. Twilight Princess felt safe and a bit stale.
