A lot of us would like to upgrade our PCs, but the fact of the matter is that this stuff is expensive now. It’s very hard to justify the expense if you’re looking for PC parts, which is why a lot of us have ended up getting new peripherals instead. A new mouse and keyboard can be a big win, as can a new controller, but if you’re looking for something that’s always impactful, then it could be time to get a new monitor.
If that sounds good to you, then you’re going to love today’s deal. That’s because it brings the price of the impressive Samsung 27-Inch G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor down from its usual $250 to an amazing $160 instead. That’s a big discount, and it’s one that makes this an incredible purchase, but we don’t know how long the deal will actually last for. So, if you want it, make sure you get it soon.
Game On
This monitor is an absolute beauty, with 27-inches of 1440p resolution making every game or video you put on it look stunning. Heck, even a spreadsheet will shine on this thing, and with a 180Hz refresh rate, you’re also getting a wonderfully smooth experience too. That means that you can hit up to 180 frames per second, so you’ll have no issues pushing your GPU to go a little bit faster. It’s hard to express how much of a difference that can make to your gaming.
Along with that, it’s got a decently low response time of 1ms, which isn’t the faster on the market, but is likely low enough for the vast majority of gamers. We’re sorry to say that you have to be built very different to be able to make the most of response times lower than that, and if you’re past the age of 25, it’s probably too late for you. You’re in your prime, don’t get us wrong, but you know, we all have limits. You’re also getting a height adjustable stand, a virtual aim point, and it’ll automatically switch between sources if you’re using it with multiple consoles alongside your PC.
This is a great deal on a monitor you’ll get a lot of use out of, but we don’t know how long the price will actually last for. So, if you do want this, it makes sense to get it while it’s down to $160, and to be quick about it.
