Goddamn that game was hard, especially with the stupid get-through-this-heavily-infested-level-with-dozens-of-dead-ends-before-the-timer-reaches-zero leves...
im interested, but have to see what it IS like, and for how much. it could very easily be a game you can pay in small snippets on the bus/train, since you'll prob. spend most of your time doodling rather than anything intensive like racing or shooting.
But it was nice having her join in on a Mariokart DS multiplayer session with had with my friends one night at the Passionfruit icecream parlour at Capitol Theatre (okay, its not as romantic as the above picture, but still). Further more, out of the 6 people playing, I was the only hardcore gamer, so it was nice seeing people being gamers, albeit a casual one.
Funnily enough, the same thing is happening with the Wii: of my friends that have a DS, they now all have Wii's. My GF and I bumped into two friends at JB at Town Hall the other day, and they were looking for Wii games to purchase. So there I am, making recommendations, and my GF is just shaking her head, telling the other two "you're becoming geeks!".
By the way, is that the George St. Cinema Easyway?
But i do think they have (very) different standards between games and anime/manga; whilst I like Gantz (the manga more than the anime), I dont like it for the gore and blood, which is why the take of "Ninja Gaiden 2 is about bloooooodd!111" is really unappealing.
i stopped going to Kinokuniya. Yesasia.com all the way.
I'm kind of surprised they didnt run this by people first, to see what peoples reactions/thoughts are.
As an Aussie, I'm also kind of perplexed as to why there's a separate site (unless they got fed up with complaints about 'color', 'aluminum' and 'center').
