I miss .hack

Still kinda hate myself for buying all four of them cause they were an obvious money grab, but hell, I had some sort of kinda fun with them. Plus, I used one of the included anime DVDs to demo the TVs after the managers went home back when I worked at wal mart. I still remember the faces of the customers who were confused by and somewhat fearful of the anime.
Are you going to buy this game day one if it looks okay?
Japan is basically Eastern America. After WWII, they picked up the American system and ran with it, while of course twisting it with their culture.

No one likes to see people starve. That's why Americans donate to the Red Cross. That shaggy malnourished bum on the corner though? Fuck him.
Last Call: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition.

Great read so far, really fascinating non fiction. For anyone who wants to read a "real" book, I'd recommend this!
Yes, an entire people are spoiled. Maybe you have a different definition across the pond, but having your government provide you with every little need no matter what (oh no, I can't afford food but I'm also not working, won't someone give me a handout? Why thanks!) is the real definition of spoiled.
Make an example out of what? Someone messing around with their own property? He bought that PS3, it's his.

Goddamn, if Sony was this bitchy back when I was a kid I'd be in jail now for taking apart my cassette player. I don't know what's more worrisome - the fact Sony is getting away with this or the fact people are actually defending them.
Lesson: When you decide to deeply examine your electronics that you bought and paid for with your own money, make damn sure you don't post what you find on the internet.

Apparently if you dig too deep the corporations will do their best to have you locked away. What a fantastic modern world we live in.
Anyone else get the feeling that Mr. Caffeine was on something a little stronger than his namesake? I swear I heard some sniffles from him during the press conference...
I hope it turns out better than the showing at the MS conference, they were getting dangerously close to Sony '06 territory. Shit, I just can't help myself:

Lightsaber ON!
Maybe on PSN.,.. but Sony has much more going on than just PlayStation.
I hope you go back and watch the episodes from the early to mid 90s. They hold up remarkably well, and are still genuinely funny.

Every character on the Simpsons has become a caricature of who they once were, and the series is much more cartoony than it was back then, so I'd be interested in hearing what someone who started watching in the '00s thinks of the old episodes.
Future MBAs take note of this post: Stuff the masses with free junk and they'll sit right back on your lap no matter what you did.
This is like getting the official PI report weeks after you suspected the fact that your wife was seeing another guy. Nice to get confirmation, but you already figured it out.

I hope Sony learns the hard way via massive, multiple government fines that they need to be more open with their customers when their personal information is stolen.
And not to store user passwords unhashed. That'd be nice too.
Yes, but the Simpsons have sucked since 1997. We all know its a sellout shell of a show that Fox keeps on because it makes them money somehow. It's sad to have watched South Park fall into the same trap during the past five years. I'd like to think of this episode as the series finale.
Hm. North Carolina here. Now I know you were just fucking me. North == forward. South == backwards.
Because the game is simply better on and meant for the PS3.

What you did would be like complaining they used Xbox controls while describing a CoD game. Describing it with PS controls would just sound weird.
Man, I don't know what's sadder. Matt and Trey had to be in their what, 40s? before coming to this conclusion, or that I still watch South Park. Man, this show should have ended seasons ago.

Nothing worse than watching something that was once original, funny, ground-breaking, and frankly hilarious wither away over the years like a loved one suffering from cancer.
Sorry you can't understand. If you think they are simply stereotypes then you're lucky. Where do you live? I want to move there.
Living in the south often brings me into contact with them, I don't know if they're in every wal mart across the country. They're basically trailer trash except they often don't live in trailers.
Yeah, like pretty much everyone else I'm appalled. Not only won't get this game, but any other by 505 (huge sacrifice, I know). Seems squarely aimed at the ignorant wal mart crowd anyway.
