@The Whaleman: Those are counter-balanced (though not for Sweeden) by R.E.M., Boston, Culture Club, and so many others. The list there is actually really good.
@robotleawesome: It's still a shitty link. These kind of online gateways are almost always called portals. Chances are some programmer thought it would be funny to use the font and logo. I would hardly say the school loves Portal. Odds are that logo will change very soon.
@JustThisGuy: So basically you hate things that other people like? No, really. That's what you are saying.
Man, IGN has really been stepping it up in terms of creating game based communities. Fist Brawl now GTA IV.
@RPGr: It's not "plagiarism". Capcom owns all of the rights to Okami and there is no video game devlopers guild that makes them include credits. I'm not saying it's morally right but they are not doing anything illegal.

In a large part this is a cultural thing. Clover is dead to Capcom. They were very apprehensive about porting Okami in the first place for just this reason. To acknowledge them after they have left the company could be seen as being shameful. Again I'm not saying it's right but you have to understand the forces at work here.

@SeriousStu: Yes, alot of assets were lost when Clover was dissolved.

It's my understanding that alot of Okami had to be remade for the Wii because of this.

@justhesh: Yoshimitsu is insane. His banner from the first one read "peaches for sale."
@cpmui99: If it happens you can bet that Fox News won't ask for permission to use the clip.
@hondo: Rayman hasn't shown up in teasers since the first Raving Rabbids.
I doesn't matter that they are pins, it doesn't matter that they aren't meant to be ingested. What matters is that they create an unreasonable risk of lead poisoning. The paint could flake off and be ingested, the pinback could be removed and the object swallowed, the pin could be licked or sucked without actually swallowing it, any bit of the pin could break off and be eaten. They aren't being recalled because they are pins, they are being recalled because they contain unsafe levels of lead. Honestly, it doesn't matter what it is, if it contains too much lead (for its intended application) it will be recalled.
@El-Suave: More like the Chinese company they contracted is environmentally evil. Going by the other recent incidents Nintendo probably didn't even know what was going on. These contracted companies tend to bid low give a proper reference sample and then proceed to cut corners with the final product.
@karasu is my homeboy: They have to recall it because little kids, the people who have the most to lose from lead poisoning, might lick or suck on the pins. People don't normally eat paint chips but lead paint is outlawed because children might. Any product that contains lead and doesn't carry a warning should probably be recalled. It's not something to fuck around with and can leach into your skin if you handle it too much.
@KroKan: Because any jackhole can come allong and give it a one. No one besides the press has played the game yet.
Seven pages asside (that tends to be their lgenth for featured reviews), I have to say I agree with their feelings regarding "perfect" scores.
@Edmon Shocky: Did you not get the Freud reference?
The general gist of what Yee is saying is more than reasonable. Parents shouldn't buy M rated games for their kids unless they are comfortable with the content (let's face it some kids are mature enough to watch R rated movies and play M rated games). Some parents do need to be reminded that M rated games are not intended for children, this is just a fact of life. The release of GTA IV is exactly the right time to remind them of this. It might seem like common sense, but we should know that sense is hardly common.

Yee's cheap shots at Rockstar and GTA are unfortunate because they take away from the greater message. Still, we can't afford to lose sight of this message in order to slag Yee and his press release. Gamers need to present a united front that advocates responsible gaming and parenting. We can't afford to shoot this down point-blank just because the details are objectionable. I'm not saying we should get behind this statement or Yee himself, that's not necessarily reasonable, but we shouldn't dismiss it altogether.

@jp182: AC was a good game. If it was half as long or had more variety it would have been a great game. Given how many people bought it, I think there's only a vocal minority that actually hated the game.
@Mr. Fap☆Fap!: Holy jesus no! Taking too much Vitamin C can lead to indegestioin, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flushing of the face, headache, fatigue and disturbed sleep. In other words it can make you sicker. With regards to the common cold Vitamin C is fairly ineffectual and, as I have stated, can cause serious problems if taken improperly. It has been suggested that you talk to a doctor if you take more than 1000 mg a day (that's roughly 11 times the RDA).
I haven't read a whole lot of Morrison's work, but I can't deny that New X-Men was fantastic. Up untill the end that is. Specifically the Scooby Doo twist ending that pissed me off.
