This week's hardware chart may not look radically different—the Nintendo DS Lite and Wii still reign supreme, taking everyone down to Asskick Park for a good sales walloping—but it reflects a generally healthy week for Sony hardware. There are few surprises in this week's Media Create hardware sales chart, as general weekly trends continue. The Nintendo DS Lite once again murdered the competition, selling at a rate even better than the previous week's 255,000. Unexpectedly, the GameCube saw a mini-sales surge in Japan, besting list bottom-feeders like the Game Boy micro and GBA SP.
