Sources tell me that Nintendo is planning on showing the Wii around in the time leading up to the launch of the next-gen console.

Rumor has it that the console will be launching on a big-ass, cross-country tour this fall, pre-launch, to bring Nintendo's flavor of games to the people.

The goal, I think, is for Nintendo to get the console in the hands of as many people as possible, because they believe once people try it, they'll buy it.

Still no idea where this tour will be hitting, but I'm sure an official announcement will be coming in the near future. I don't think it's the Fusion Tour, for what it's worth. Brian Crecente
