Crazy Taxi: City Rush will be hitting the App Store and Google Play later this year as a free-to-play release, ditching the open world design of the original game for an on-rails, swipe-centric experience. Here's the relevant stuff from the official press release:

Free to download and play for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices, Crazy Taxi™: City Rush was designed exclusively for mobile and will release globally later this year.
