The more of Neill Blomkamp's work I see, the more confident I am with his choice as the director of Halo. There's a lot of ways the movie could be screwed up — perhaps controversially, I think one of those ways is by replacing the Master Chief with a recognizable actor, or making someone like Angelina Jolie play Cortana. The original voice actors are inexorably linked to the Halo universe in my mind — but the director seems to have a gift for smart, exciting science fiction. More »
