Not enough metal for you in Guitar Hero and Rock Band? How about a music game that is completely metal? Visual effect consultants EBT3 Creations and talent management company Indevent USA have formed a new multi-media company called Reign Productions, and their first project is said to be a multi-million dollar video game containing nothing but metal. Details are scant at the moment, pending a major announcement regarding the project at the annual NAMM global music products show in Anaheim, California in January, but the game will apparently feature artist cameos as well as the formation of a metal supergroup within the game. More »

is once again going ahead. The project has been in the very early
stages for sometime (see eerily similar Slashfilm post from Feb ‘07), and faced a set back from the writer’s strike. Moreover,
De Luca says that a meeting will take place in the “next few weeks”
with writer/director Kurt Wimmer about adapting a screenplay for the film. <a href="http://kotaku.com/5003980/" title="Click here to read more about

As Luke reported last week, we now know three of the locations in Metal Gear Solid 4: the Middle East, South America and Eastern Europe. But there's more: When I was interviewing Ryan Payton for last week's Game Head at the E For All Expo, he also let slip that there are two other top-secret locations. More »

Sorry, Saturn fans. This is NOT a post about the excellent turn-based SRPG Dragon Force, but a quick diversion for fans of the speed metal cheeseball shredders from across the pond. Upping the cheese factor once again amidst all the lightning quick squealing of guitars and vocals, Dragon Force does their famous picture-in-picture soloing, but this time with a fighting-game schtick. It's impressive how the effects go from average to laughable during this portion of the video. More »
