While on a business trip to L.A., Kotakuite Eric L. decided to swing by Microsoft's little Viva Pinata fiesta, "The Biggest Pinata Party In The World." He was even able to snap some pics of the event to send along to us, although I was sorely disappointed that NONE of them included party host Mario Lopez. You may remember Mr. Lopez as the hunky A.C. Slater onSaved by the Bell. Then he did The Other Side, which was a pathetic attempt to capitalize on the male side of the already pathetic bitch fest The View. But, I digress...

The party was festive little affair with games for the kiddies, terrifying character costumes and Viva Pinata demo stations. There was also something called a "Pinata Hunt". The children chose a pinata and inside each one was a slip of paper with the name of a prize written on it. Prizes ranged from an Xbox 360 or copies of Viva Pinata to little backpacks and stickers.

I can't help but grin at the thought of a group of children disemboweling a bunch of pinatas in hopes of getting a 360. It seems almost more brutal than the ritual beatings these poor pinatas usually receive. make the jump for more non Mario Lopez photos. Flynn De Marco
