Atlus just announced the winners of their 2008 Atlus-O-Weenie Halloween Costume Contest, which had fans of the company's games dressing themselves up as popular characters for a chance at an Atlus prize pack filled with goodies. Judging from some of the shots they received the real winner here was the folks on the other end of the entry email address. Just look at this cosplay of Velvet from Odin Sphere. The sheer amount of physical fitness represented in that one picture alone is enough to leave my lazy ass winded - and she didn't even win! More »

A new DS game featuring unemployed ninja Izuna was released yesterday in Japan. The launch event featured Izuna and fellow ninja Shino cosplayers carrying fake swords and smiling. The game's character designer even made an appearance, signing autographs and drawing pictures. I quite like the idea of people involved in the game showing up at launches and signing autographs. Seems like a good way to launch a game! More »

We don't think we've ever seen a "saucy" DS case before. Even the game case for SNK's Doki Doki Majo Shinpan was totally tame. RPG dungeon crawler Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja 2 for the DS is getting released today in Japan and going on sale at retailer Sofmap in this very saucy box set that looks more like a shameful movie (or game) than the fairly innocuous DS title that it is. So saucy! More »
