Julien Renoult is a senior concept artist at Insomniac. He is also one of the finalists in the 2014 Into The Pixel awards.

His "character grouping" from Sunset Overdrive was easily my favourite among the 2014 entries in the competition.

A graduate of the esteemed Gobelins school in France, Julien got a little more exposure than most artists can manage when he did the animated intros for the BBC's coverage of the 2012 Olympics.

You can see more of Julien's work at his personal site, DeviantArt page and Cook & Becker gallery.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios. If you're in the business and have some concept, environment, promotional or character art you'd like to share, drop us a line!
