Today I had to call a company for a short piece I'm writing for Wired. I've been trying to get one particular dude on the phone for a couple days, but he's been out of the office. Finally got ahold of him today, and he said he'd forward me the necessary info for my article, answer my questions, blah blah blah. During the course of the conversation, I realized: I'm bowing. The guy on the other line cannot see me, but I am bowing repeatedly as I thank him for his help. Wonder if I gesticulate when speaking English on the phone...
Wife rented Desperate Housewives. I'd never seen it!
