Lots of schwag are novelty items you can't really use but that are...novel. Tecmo Koei's goodies from its Tokyo Game Show event are so useful.

The gift bag that was handed out contained a bag of Dynasty Warriors rice, a copy of Ninja Gaiden Σ and a Fist of the North Star alarm clock that *hopefully* says "You are already awake".
