Barbara "Grandma Hardcore" St. Hilaire put her money where her foul mouth is yesterday, proving that she can beat any other geriatric gamer around.
St. Hilaire was crowed Nintendo's Coolest Grandparent of the Year Sunday after winning a gaming competition held in honor of Grandparents Day at the Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
St. Hilaire pwned the other grandparents in a little Brain Age competition, taking home two Nintendo DS Lites and ten DS games.
"I'm amazed I won! I didn't think I was that good," said St. Hilaire, who has been gaming since 1975. "I play with my 13 grandkids and they are all gamers. It's a lot of fun."
I'm amazed she Nintendo managed to pull a printable quote out of her.
