The Tom Clancy franchise of realistic military action games rolls on into the near future with Ghost Recon 2, where the Army's Fancy Schmancy Future Force Warrior (FSFFW) battle gear is standard issue. Yeah, it looks a little like Halo, so what? This is actual real gear that will one day be used by actual soldiers. Maybe.
Yes, don't ignore the air of authenticity as you issue commands to your team like "get the hell back on the reverse slope of the hill before you get killed", "no that's too far, now you can't see anything you idiots", "fine stay there, I'll just kill them all by myself", plus many other standard Ghost Recon commands, all through their FFW helmet's bone-conducting microphone system.
Ghost Recon 2 is currently due out for Xbox and PS2 in late Novemeber.
