Microsoft showed off the box that the Xbox 360 will be sold in at Xbox Summit 2005 and yes we are that desperate for X360 news.

The box will be white and green. and sport this description: One side of the packaging had the slogan Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system is you. It's your future. With the most strong games and the most powerful technology, Xbox 360 puts you at the center of your entertainment experience. With the Xbox 360, you can play the most compelling games, watch DVD movies, and share your digital music, photos, videos, and TV.

Most strong games? I'm hoping that's a translation issue.

The packaging also reveals that the console will ship with a hard drive, wireless controller, Xbox Live, headset and Ethernet cable. Oddly, there was no mention of audio/video cables. That's really weird.

Gamespot posted a list of some of the cool Xbox 360 accessories on display at the event. Here's the highlights:

Play and Charge Unit that lets you use your wireless controller while it is recharging.

Additional hard drives.

The remote control that many of us assumed with ship with the console.

The AV cables that really should ship with the console.

The motherboard, that probably will make the console do something other than sit in your entertainment system looking pretty.**

**Although the motherboard is not listed on the side of the box, it will more than likely be included inside the Xbox 360 when you buy one.
