The Xbox 360 price debate continues to rage. The issue has come to such a head that Xbox guru and mountain biking god J Allard held an open chat on the subject on Saturday (granted , it was with little to no notice and on a sunny Saturday afternoon.). My editorial on the "true" cost of the Xbox 360 experience drew quite a number of emails both pro and con and the poll I set up on the subject has drawn an interesting response.

As of Sunday night, the poll had 2,442 votes and showed that "$400, the current price is fine," $300 and "I'm not going to buy an Xbox 360" were pretty much all neck-and-neck. The winner by 40 votes was "I'm not going to buy an Xbox 360, no matter how cheap it is," while $300 took second by a mere 24 votes.
