To help kickoff the World Cup (and sell more consoles), Xbox Japan has once again teamed up with Adidas to co-brand the 360. Packaged in a special box and going on sale in late April, the bundle will include a blue faceplate and bandanas to support Japan's national team. A copy of the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 will also be included, along with the usual suspects: wireless controller, HDD, remote, etc. There will only be 10,000 of these special bundles produced for soccer-crazy Japan. (Now, there's the daunting challenge of selling them to an indifferent Japanese buying public.) Last time the two companies partnered, the results were less than spectacular. Microsoft's continual catering to the Japanese shows strong resolute and belief in their system. The World Cup 360 faceplate says, "Impossible is Nothing." Fitting.
