A town outside of Raleigh, North Carolina is offering a cash and game consoles to people who turn in graffiti taggers, the Charlotte Observer is reporting.
"It's an aggravation to the people," said Alderman Buck Kennedy. "It's not the kind of picture we want to present to people thinking about coming to live in Garner. This is out attempt to snuff it out — to get rid of this act rather than let it become ... something of a fad."
The town is offering a $1,000 reward and police a $500 reward or choice of a PS3, Wii or Xbox 360. That's pretty huge for a little graffiti. Man, I'd love to see what the police would offer if real crime struck Garner.
