Courtesy of Impress Game Watch come first screens of Square-Enix and Game Arts (developers of RPG mainstays Grandia and Lunar) Xbox 360 space shooter, dubbed Project Sylph. The official site is nothing but a teaser at this point, but Xbox 360 Japanophiles would be served well by keeping their eyes on the site next Friday, when the thing kicks into full gear.

The game was announced by S-E in April as a 360 exclusive, so Game Arts completists—both of you!—will finally have to pick one up. Sorry 'bout that! I actually think the game looks pretty hot, but my previous Silpheed experience does not fill my gamer soul with undying faith. More like cautious optimism. Michael McWhertor
