Jane over at 1Up is reporting that Microsoft is preparing to set the official price of the Xbox 360 on August 17 at 9:30 A.M. EST sharp. While she's only listing it as a rumor, it sounds way to precise to be completly off-base.
Last week an analyst reported what I first said in my Xbox 360 leak story way back in February, that the Xbox 360 will come in two flavors, one with a harddrive and without. (if this turns out to be true, than my leak story turned out to be nearly 100 percent true)
The harddriveless version will likely sell for $299 and you can buy the 20-gig hard drive for another $60 to $100.
