When you can't find a PlayStation 3, what are you to do? Buy an Xbox 360, of course! That's certainly what the advertisers at Microsoft want you to think, even when you're reading Gamespot.

Several readers have pointed out to us that the PS3 section of the gargantuan video game news site has been featuring... err, plastering Xbox 360 propaganda on every available pixel. Those MS marketing types, they're so smart.

Even I, still holding on to the hope that the Xbox team will find a way to ship me a free console before the holidays, have nearly broken down and purchased one. A few more banner ads and it's pretty much a done deal.
