GoNintendo has found a way to do tabbed browsing on your Wii's Opera Browser. A reader sent them this handy tip: Point your Wii browser to http://team-dsx.net/ds/basic.php. Once there you will see a tab appear in the upper left hand corner of your screen. By clicking on the tiny tab icon in the corner (not the "x") it will allow you to put in another url and open a new tab.
Pretty nifty tool, just be sure to favorite that site as you will have to visit it first to enable the tabbing. I tried it out myself and found a couple of little wonky things: The tabs are very small as is the icon you click on for more tabs (unless you magnify) and for some reason, it creates a scrollbar on the right that disables the in-browser scrolling. I also get the feeling that getting to the site will be increasingly more difficult as more people find out about this.
A great little device from Dual Systems extreme (if not a little buggy) to hold us over until the full version of Opera releases in March.
