
While the PS3 and the Xbox 360 battle for the high def crown, Nintendo's clearly doing its own thing with first the DS and now the Wii. But does that mean Nintendo is not a contender for next-gen winner? Company prez Satoru Iwata talks Wii strategy:
Our focus has been on how we could make those who had not been interested in TV games so far become interested. So we are not really thinking about competing with PLAYSTATION 3.
Then what are you thinking about?!
Although we are not really thinking about winning against Sony, we do hope to make efforts so that in the end, the number of units sold by Nintendo surpasses that of Sony.
Sounds like Nintendo isn't thinking about competing, but winning.
