Valve's digital delivery system has become absolutely huge over the past few years. The platform now boasts over 13 million active users, including me apparently. *pokes Steam icon on taskbar with a stick* I'm not really sure how that got there, but I guess it makes me an active user!

With digital distribution itself picking up...steam, Valve expects more major publishers will be picking up Steam to handle their products on the online marketplace.

Valve president and all-around extremely opinionated guy Gabe Newell is excited about the platform's future.

"In the past, we've added over 100 new titles from third parties, grown to over 13 million active accounts, and introduced new features such as Guest Passes and Free Weekends. This growth has taught us a lot and inspired many additional features and services that we'll be releasing later this year," revealed Newell.
