Two new trailers for Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition are out and here is number one. Called, "Rescue Mission Trailer", it's an in-depth narrative look at the characters. Ok, it's game footage with the names of the characters scrolling all over the place. I actually think this one is kind of cheesey, especially at the end when it says, "RESIDENT EVIL 4" in a voice that could only be described as a bad imitation of Danny from "The Shining". Not to worry, there's a better one coming up in just a sec.

Ok, who wanted the voice to say "Wii Edition"?
I really respect Capcom pricing it at only 30 bucks. I guess some game companies aren't completely soulless creatures of darkness (coughEAcough)
That game looks oddly familiar...
Yeah I know the voice is cheesy and bad imitation but that is half the fun.
And wasn't that the same voice in RE4 on GameCube and some other RE games?
I will have to get this game yet again, I just cant help myself. RE5 cant come soon enough.
Bad voice acting shouldn't be new to the series.
Yeah, this will be my third copy of the game. Only because it's the best game ever.
Ummm, what was that electronic gun that Leon used to take out that group of zombies? I know it's been a while since I beat this game, but I really don't remember that weapon at all.
Where's all the Wii's innovation now?
Why don't we try porting all sorts of games with the wii control scheme?
But I am interested to see how its going work.
ZZzZzz ZZzzzZZzz zzZZ
That electronic gun has to be a new one because I recently played it and I don't remember that gun either.
@cringer8: Was thinking the same thing... also in the scene after with all the zombies around, one is holding a knife/machete that seems to be electrified... or maybe is a new lighting effect?
i literally lol'd at the voice at the end, i tihnk im gonna have to go watch that again actually! :D
@Cyclolink: It was in the PS2 version of the game.
@cringer8: Maybe the unlockable weapon 'plagas removal laser'? Not sure as I just read about it, never actually saw it.
@cringer8: @Cyclolink:
That is one of the NEW guns that was put into the PS2 version of the game.
Remember it is GameCube version with PS2 chapters and Wii controls, meaning GOOD graphics with new stuff and motion controls.
Well, that gun just doesn't fit with the original "feel" of the game.
It's way too high tech. But that's just my opinion.
Ada Wong is smoking hot.
I may have to pick up this game again for the Separate Ways chapter...glad I didn't bite on the PS2 version.
Although this game was the best thing the GC bred, I doubt I'll buy it again. But it seemed there was some new info on Ada's part here, I don't that angle on the knife fight between Leon and Krauzer in the gc version.
Or have I just forgotten it?
@mienvard
Nope, it wasn't in the original. The PS2 version had exclusive mini chapters that allowed you to play important scenes from Ada's perspective.
The "Resident Evil 4" line is pulled from the existing game(s) when you start the game. I guess it costs more to pay Mr voice dude to say "Wii Edition" :p
I half expected some undead witch to jump out at the end and scream "I'll eat your soul!" after the Resident Evil 4 cornball logo was said.
I'll still get it though, hoping to have a full content game for the Wii. Oh please, oh please.
goood, couldnt stop myself from getting one soon

I still think this game stacks up to anything out there, graphically (yes, including Gears of War). I really hope someone gives this sort of attention to an original game for the Wii. There was ONE thing in the trailer that I didn't recognize -- Ada (or whatever her name is) kicking those dudes with the shields. Is that new, or is my memory failing me? Stupid memory. D'oh! (Sorry, Simpsons on the brain, after seeing that funky new yellow 360)
