Awesome New Prince of Persia Trailer and Screens

I'm not trying to build this up, honestly, but this Prince of Persia trailer is just beautiful. It's certainly not Trailer Trash material. Feel free to take a gander at it as well as the screens after the jump. More »

New Tom Clancy's HAWX Screens

It's nice to every once in a while pick up a controller and play a few missions of Ace Combat. With Tom Clancy's HAWX, we'll have a fresh face in the aerial combat lineup and it'll be most welcome on PS3. Behold, some new screens showing a few of the aircraft you'll be flying.

Target's Special Edition Shaun White Snowboarding Pimps Target

Target has long been a sponsor of snowboarder Shaun White, so it only makes sense that the retailer get a very special edition of his upcoming snowboarding title just for them. Much more than a normal SE, Target's Shaun White Snowboarding contains new characters, exclusive scenes, and an entire mountain dedicated to the store, complete with virtual version of the Target Chalet, where Shaun and other Target brand athletes chill between sessions.

“Shaun has been riding for Target for nearly seven years, so this exclusive version of Shaun White Snowboarding was a natural fit for our relationship with him,” said Troy Michels, Target Lifestyle Marketing. “It’s great to see the Target brand brought to life alongside Shaun in the game and we’re confident that Target guests and gamers will be eager to see what has come from our collaboration in the Target edition of Shaun White Snowboarding.”

Lovely! I see no problem with this whatsoever. In fact, I would probably be more up to buying Splinter Cell: Conviction if they place an entire level inside a McDonald's Playland. "There were plastic balls everywhere and blood...so much blood." The very notion fills me with such glee. Glee!

New Shaun White's Snowboarding Developer Diary Focuses on Community

It's actually kind of interesting to see the direction the developers are taking with Shaun White's Snowboarding. In this video they talk about how they are breaking down the barrier between multiplayer and single player by having the entire mountain be your lobby. If you are in the single player mode anyone can seamlessly join you for a fun day of conquering double blacks and broken legs.

We can look forward to the game just in time for the ski season later this year for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PC.

Two New Tom Clancy's Endwar Trailers

Today we get to take another look at Tom Clancy's Endwar and if you're in the market for a new Odama style voice command strategy game - you might want to keep your eye on this one. The first video covers command points and explains how the more you acquire, the more mission command can offer you support in case you get yourself in a bind. The second video has explosions, tons of explosions! In the event that all else fails, defcon 1 is triggered and you can nuke your enemy back to the stone age. You can pick it up November 4th on PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 and DS. Second video after the jump.

Wall Street Rebounds, Takes Game Stocks With It

Yesterday, Wall Street crashed. Took a lot of gaming industry money with it. Today, though, the market's rebounded, and whaddya know, that rebound took a lot of gaming industry money with it! Blactivision lost $2.26 (per share) yesterday, but clawed back $1.31 today. EA lost $3.63 yesterday, but at the sounding of the bell today, had won back $0.99. The gains weren't restricted to Wall Street, either; Ubisoft shares were up €7.25 having dropped €12.47 yesterday. Such chaos. Such unpredictability. Lucky we can't understand choose not to play the stock market!

These Far Cry 2 Screens Will Shoot You in The Throat

Or, at least, shoot her in the throat. As for the other screens, they're a selection of real, in-game shots, so what you see here will be what you see when the game comes out. And what we see here - lazy sunsets as we drift lazily down a river - looks gorgeous. There's a few screens below, with plenty more at the link underneath.

War World

XBLA This Week: War World

How the hell did I completely miss a giant robot game coming to Xbox Live Arcade? War World, developed by Third Wave Games and published by Ubisoft, is a third-person action shooter featuring 16 different powerful mechs with a variety of different special abilities. You can play offline in the 100-level arcade mode or death matches against bots, or go online for 8-player multiplayer Capture the Flag, Bomb Assault, Death Match and Team Death Match.

Giant robot combat with online multiplayer for a measly 800 Microsoft points? I might not know much about the title, but it's going to have to suck pretty hard to not be completely worth the price.

The Great Brothers In Arms Heist

British cops seized a Renault truck filled with 16,000 stolen copies of Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway. Cops spotted the truck in Leeds after noticing its fake plates. The truck was impounded by authorities, and then stolen again hours later — along with the games. According to a police spokesperson:

We are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry, including eBay transactions where a number of the games have been potentially identified as being advertised for sale. Arrests have already been made in respect of this.

The take's value? £600,000. “Fans needn’t worry as more stock is being parachuted in," stated Ubisoft. They, though, should worry about finding the loot.
