Via Kotaku commenter Risky+Safety comes this frighteningly real image of the upcoming Animal Crossing anime. Guess this means the whole AC movie bit isn't some unfunny joke. Risky writes:

I was in a theater near Osaka station yesterday to see Nippon Chibotsu, and I saw this. The quality isn't very good, something I realized after I took the picture, but in the background is Tom Nook and the Able Sister's shop.
