Japanese denim is arguably the best in the world. A perfect canvas. No doubt good motivation for Japanese blogger Takuronyan to create D.I.Y. Mario jeans. He carefully constructed the plumber on several sheets of graph paper. To make templates, different shapes were cut out of each sheet. Takuronyan then painted the jeans with acrylic paints. Mario was painted on the back pocket, while Kuppa graces the leg. Because, well, if there's one place Mario belongs, it's on your butt. —Brian Ashcraft
