The gaming exec bitch fight to end all gaming exec bitch fights is in full-swing. First, Msoft's Peter Moore and his 24-inch guns said that the PS3 had sucky pricing. Sony's pale Phil Harrison and his 8-inch guns (eat something dude!) fired back.
I think Peter Moore is exactly right. I think Nintendo will be the second system consumers purchase after PlayStation 3. I haven't had a chance to check out the Wii myself, but Nintendo has a great history of innovation and has always done great things for gaming and long may they do so. But as it relates to our strategy they are very much in a different market.
Harrison also said he was "amazed" that Sony could put together such an amazing package "so cheaply" right before he climbed into a bath of virgin blood.
