    Nintendo: "Wii Not Above 25,000 Yen"

    Today at the Osaka Securities Exchange, Nintendo presented its fiscal statement for the 2005 financial year. When reporters asked what the Wii's cost will be, Nintendo's answer was, "There are no plans to set the price above 25,000 yen (US $222)." Along with moving 16 million DS portables, the company expects to sell 6 million Wii consoles and 17 million Wii games by next March.
