Back before Nintendo made video games, it made hana fuda cards. But hana fuda is boring, so after that, it did cool stuff. Stuff like Lego-thingies, releasing Twister in Japan, creating fake whiskey bottles you could shoot and guns, lots of plastic guns. Old school Nintendo, big gun freak.

I wonder how much one of those vintage light gun toys sell for.

Pretty cool!
Hey cool stuff. :)
Wheres that exhibit at?
Hey witzboid, its at the Osaka Hankyu Deptartment store on the 7th floor past all the kimono stalls and random food vendors.
I went on the 2nd day to buy that limited mario kart shirt... sold out. I asked the sales rep if they would be selling it on the website, and he seemed to indicate a negative.
No joy =(
@SkyBison: Cheers mate! Silly me I just noticed Osaka in the read more tags too.
I really want to go up there, but takin the shinkansen to and from tokyo is gonna kill my budget.
My better half will be waiting with a frying pan also if I do use $$$ just to check out some groovin nintendo exhibit.
Awesome display, I wish I could attend. Especially for all of the pre-gaming toys they had on display. I like the hanafuda displays too, I actually have the Napoleon Hanafuda deck featured in DSCF8453.JPG.
