    London PS3 Launch Gives Out TVs to All

    How's this for nice?

    The BBC is reporting that everyone who purchased a PS3 at the London launch of the console received a free 46-inch HD television and a taxi ride home.

    Holy!

    That's About GBP 250,000 worth of televisions and cab rides to more than 100 gamers. The guy at the front of the line waited a whopping 36 hours.

    So let me get this straight. Wait two days in the U.S. for a PS3 and you get a gut full of shot. Wait two days in the UK for a PS3 and you get a free cab ride and television.
