So I turned on my PLAYSTATION 3 for a quick game of Resistance multi-player, only to be greeted with a notice that a system update was required. And *snap* the console's firmware has been updated to 1.30. That was quick! The update apparently irons out old TVs with 1080i—more info as it becomes known. Word is that we should expect lots of these updates. Perhaps, monthly even. Think of it as after-service for your PLAYSTATION 3. Brian Ashcraft
