Guitar Hero is coming to Xbox 360, and bringing a brand new controller and the possibility of exclusive downloadable content:

"We believe there is no better title to feature micro-transactions than a music game like Guitar Hero II, where the content is the basis of your experience. The relationship with the Xbox Live Marketplace creates endless possibilities for exclusive content."

This from a press release we got today from Redoctane, who included a nice image of the new controller (looks to be a mockup and not an actual photo), which seems a wee bit bland, but easily customizable. Eliza Gauger
