Contrary to popular belief, I'm not really a heartless person. Helping old ladies across the street, saving Hallmark cards and crying — I'm so occasionally there. And these 8-bit alien plush toys? Adorable! Indie toy artists Amy and Jude Buffum created these very cute Space Invaders at limited edition run of 25 with each selling for US $25. That's easy to remember.

Cutest things ever!
They're cute, but they look like they'd be rather easy to make out of those cheap felt squares you can find at Wal-Mart. Speaking from experience here, only I made plush 8-bit Zelda items instead.
If only all "Kill All Human" creatures looked that cute.
So cute! Makes me want to go make some 8-bit plushies.
Yeah, they're cute, but so not worth $25, considering that they only cost probably ten percent of that to make each.
those aren't canonical.
I was looking for ideas what to get a friend for thier birthday, i'll probably make something similar if i have the time.
You don't have to be canonical when you are cuddly.
@kokuou: You are right, they wouldn't cost that much to make yourself. Still, they are cute and well imagined. I can see Bashcraft, who has assured us he actually is a nice guy, carrying one with him in the same way Sebastian in Brideheads Revisited lugs around his teddy bear.
@kokuou: You are right, they were made for much less than $25 each. But they were well imagined and are cute. I can see Bashcraft carrying one around like Sebastian and his teddy bear in Brideshead Revisited.
Cute and well imagined definitely does not justify the price tag... I mean this is the kind of project we did in intro sewing class in seventh grade. $15 would be pushing it, $25 is atrocious.
What are you suppose to do with them???
These aren't cute at all. They are crap.
The eyes don't even line up with where the other pixels do!
Yeah, I've got to say I'm not all that impressed. Especially for $25 a pop!
What a bunch of whiny haters this post has dragged out.
@Dragoonkin:
Hmmm... so anyone who doesn't like them is a "whiny hater"?
Everyone commented directly on the product, and didn't resort to name calling.
Like you did, for example.
I think they're kind of cute.

And they're made of really nice (expensive) polar fleece, like Uglydolls, not cheap felt from Wal*Mart. Actually I find it quite amusing Wal*Mart was mentioned, considering the main reason these cost what they do is so we could pay ourselves a whopping ten bucks an hour, instead of having them mass produced overseas by child slave laborers.
